SAUNA BUILDERS — SUNSHINE COAST
The Sunshine Coast is home base. We build custom saunas into beachside homes from Noosa to Caloundra and into hinterland properties around Eumundi, Tinbeerwah and Maleny — usually close enough that the builder who quotes your job is the one on site every day.
Not a kit reseller. Every sauna is designed for the space it sits in, framed and waterproofed properly, lined in low-toxin timber and finished by the same team that started it.
Coastal homes here sit in salt air and high humidity for most of the year. That changes what we specify: stainless or hot-dip galvanised fixings and hardware, timber species that move less in humid air, and enough clearance and airflow under and around an outdoor sauna that the frame dries out between sessions.
Hinterland sites bring their own conditions — slopes, wet seasons and cooler nights — so footings, drainage and insulation are planned around the block rather than a standard design.
Sunshine Coast sauna projects fall under Sunshine Coast Council or Noosa Shire Council, depending on where your property is. Whether your sauna needs approval depends on the site and the size of the build, so we confirm exactly what applies at quote stage.
And surrounding areas — ask us if yours isn't listed.

[SHORT DESCRIPTION]
A licensed Queensland builder carrying full insurance. Framing, waterproofing, approvals and licensed electrical work are all handled in-house or by our licensed trades.
Traditional Finnish sauna builds around HUUM heaters, correctly sized and vented — plus wifi heater control upgrades so the room is hot when you walk in.
Zero-waste, untreated timber sauna construction. No treated timber behind the lining, no varnish inside the hot room, and sustainable cedar where the look calls for it.
Yes. We work across both the Sunshine Coast Council and Noosa Shire Council areas, from Noosa Heads and Peregian Beach down to Caloundra and out to the hinterland.
It will if the wrong materials are used. For coastal sites we specify corrosion-resistant fixings and hardware, suitable timber and good ventilation around the structure so it lasts in salt air.
It depends on your site, the size of the sauna and where it sits on the block. We check this with you and confirm what applies at quote stage.
Yes. Sloping sites need the footings, subfloor and drainage designed for the block, which we plan as part of the build.
